1. These conditions concern the collection of points and allocation of vouchers of the evans essentials Loyalty Scheme (the “Loyalty Scheme”), which is provided by Arcadia Group Limited (“us/we/our”) and operated by GE Capital Bank Limited. They form a contract between you and us. 2. We reserve the right to withdraw or vary the terms and conditions of the Loyalty Scheme at any time by giving you reasonable notice, which shall normally be given not less than 30 days before any variation comes into force or the Loyalty Scheme is withdrawn but which may take effect immediately in the event that action is necessary to ensure compliance with any legal or regulatory obligations or in the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If the Loyalty Scheme is withdrawn, vouchers will only be issued to you if, at the time of withdrawal, you have earned 100 points or more. 3. Loyalty Scheme membership is available to persons who are issued an evans essentials card under an evans Agreement with GE Capital Bank Limited (an “Account Agreement”) signed by them and is by invitation or by qualifying at point of sale. Purchases with a card by additional cardholders will be included for the purposes of calculating the total amount of points earned, but all vouchers will be sent to the principal cardholder. 4. The Loyalty Scheme is operated by GE Capital Bank Limited. These Terms & Conditions do not form part of your Agreement to which separate Terms & Conditions apply. 5. When you use an evans essentials card in participating evans stores and on the evans website evans.co.uk you will be awarded points at the rate of 2 points for every whole £1 spent. 6. When you use an evans essentials card within the Seven Network which are currently Bhs, Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge, Outfit, Topshop, Topman and Wallis stores in the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, you will be awarded points at the rate of 1 point for every whole £1 spent. 7. When you use an evans essentials credit card outside participating evans and Seven Network stores in the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, you will be awarded points at the rate of 1 point for every whole £2 spent. 8. The minimum purchase required to earn points is £1. 9. Points will be earned on the number of whole pounds (sterling) or each transaction made with your evans essentials card. Any additional sum that does not total a whole pound will not qualify for points but will be carried over and added to the amount of your next transaction at an outlet that offers points at the same rate. 10. For the purposes of the Loyalty Scheme, participating evans stores are all evans stores in the United Kingdom, Isle of Man & the Channel Islands (including other stores as notified from time to time) and do not include stores in Eire. Evans essentials credit cards will be accepted as tender in evans or Seven Network stores in Eire or in selected sites e.g. some department stores but the evans essentials points earned will be at the standard MasterCard rate i.e. 1 essentials point for every £2 spent. Purchases through any evans stores outside of Great Britain and/or purchases of Financial Services will be treated as made outside of Participating evans Stores. 11. Where goods or services purchased using an evans essentials card are returned for a refund, points will be deducted at the rate at which they were earned. 12. Your evans essentials card statement will show your total points earned over the period to which the statement relates. 13. Cash Transactions (including betting and gaming transactions), Till Cash Transactions, Cash Advances, Balance transfers, and Convenience Cheques issued under your Agreement will not earn points under this Loyalty Scheme. Neither will purchases made using a evans essentials voucher plus any other evans promotional voucher. 14. We may from time to time offer bonus points whereby a higher percentage of the amount of purchases made during a specified period will be included in calculating the amount of points. Offers of bonuses may be withdrawn at any time. 15. Vouchers will be issued on a quarterly basis (normally January, April, July and October) in conjunction with your evans essentials card statement, unless we are prevented from sending them due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Vouchers are subject to these Conditions and to the conditions stated on the voucher. 16. evans essentials vouchers are issued at the rate of £1 for every 100 points collected. A minimum of 100 points must be earned to receive a voucher, any remaining points will at our discretion be carried forward and count towards any future evans essential vouchers. 17. evans essentials vouchers may only be redeemed at participating evans stores, (excluding online and catalogue purchases) and must be handed over at the point of sale and the balance of any purchases must be made with an evans essentials credit card. 18. evans essentials vouchers will expire on the expiry date shown on the voucher. Expired vouchers are not valid and will not be replaced, nor will points to which they relate be re-instated. 19. Only original vouchers will be accepted. Damaged or defaced or photocopied vouchers will not be accepted. 20. evans essential vouchers may not be able to be used in conjunction with certain other offer or promotion (including any Promotional Transaction, Buy Now Pay Later Transaction or Pay No Interest Transaction as referred to in your Agreement), or in connection with payments under the Agreement, unless stated otherwise. evans essential vouchers cannot be redeemed to pay for the following products or services: online purchases, catalogue purchases, gift cards, gift vouchers or towards payment of an outstanding balance on your Card. No cash alternative will be given. 21. The Promoter or evans may refuse to redeem vouchers and/or authorise the issue of points if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider that the loyalty scheme is being misused, or, if you are in breach of any of the terms of the Agreement. 22. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen vouchers. |
